    Hello~ it's Guin-ny~ I assume that almost everyone here already know what had happened to my patreon right?
    "They" got me~ <3 Now i have a "NO-cutesy-naked-mayonnaise stained-loli" sledge hammer stuck on my head. Well i draw naughty stuff, i still got my wrongs there, can't blame them HAHAHA!! So now i'm migrating to pixiv fanbox~ i hope i got a better chances there.

    I’ve done some reading into the lore of Arknights. It’s pretty in depth.

    It’s kinda RWBY-esque, with the constant existential threats and the Faunus and Ancients similarity.

    The creators have done a fair bit of homework on it. For example, Kazimierz is a parallel to Poland, and accordingly, a large amount of their population are Kuranta, humans with horse like traits. This reflects the fearsome Polish Winged Hussars.

    Side note, Guin2, if you ever draw any of the Kazimierz operators, then I recommend that this be their theme song.

    I also found the revelation that the world is closely paralleled to Command and Conquer very amusing:

    In a world much like ours, a malignant non-organic mineral detrimental to biological life spreads through the environment causing deleterious environmental effects and weather disruption. Despite its hostility to biological life, the mineral is highly prized as an energy source, research curio, and high tech component.

    All you really need to do is replace "Tiberium" with "Originium", though I think stronger magic powers is probably preferable to horrific mutation, and Reunion seems very Brotherhood of Nod-esqe.

    Not that I'm criticizing Arknights for that, it's a very unique world building concept that I had always wanted to see more of. I'm glad another IP is giving it a go, especially since C&C as an IP has been fucked for years. (RIP Westwood)
