... Yeah, I'll take any of the other anomalies over this piece of nightmare fuel. I do not blame Fennec here. Looks like Raccoon is in Hell Area Survival mode, though, so not worried about them.
Makes me wonder if Hell Area and Mansion are the same continuity since they've both shown drastically different personalities in Fennec and Raccoon. Kinda confuses me seeing panicky Fennec and calm Raccoon here.
They went inside, and saw it was full of creepy looking, but otherwise harmless dolls. There was a set of instructions on making a doll that "looks just like you" at the end of the table, saying to just press the button...
Although something seemed odd, there was no warning writing like usual saying to "not push" or anything, about the button. Nothing was shown on the Otters' map either about this floor being dangerous, although they apparently did not find it "fun" either.
... The dolls came out bigger than the room itself.
And the dolls thought THEY were the real ones, and that Fennec & Raccoon-san were the "dolls"...

I know we're in horror-movie logic mode here, but anyone who pushes random buttons in this place, no matter how the buttons are labeled or where they appear, needs a system for that kind of experimentation. Stuff like access to cloning machines and standard exploration protocols, like what the giant otters use.
I think this is the earlier days of Fennec and Raccoon on the Complex. Looking at how bad things go Raccoon might have paid a really big price to the Idiot God and now Fennec took the role of guardian.
