    It wouldn't be a birthday without a birthday cake and some birthday wishes, right!?

    Paimon has a whole lot of birthday wishes to make, the biggest of which is that we can always be together on this adventure!

    (Ignoring the lore on the Genshin franchise, that is. Assuming zero knowledge, other than what the name Paimon means elsewhere, and juxtaposition it with a cute mascot-like character.)

    But it's also inevitable that after Paimon reveals her true nature the Traveler will be forced into a long and draggy but ultimately futile quest to try and restore her fairy form and personality. Such is the nature of MiHoYo storytelling.
