Is this promotinal art or was this ever used ingame? As it's tagged as official tag, but I can't remember seeing it ever before.
I never seen this either. But it (and two more posts in the same set) was tagged official art by the artist. And the commentary said they were "Work picture" from 4 years ago (in the early days of Azur Lane I think), which only posted to Pixiv recently.

So I guess these pictures were meant for the "story-mode" of the game? Since after chapter 3-4 there are no real cutscenes anymore and this scene would be fitting for chapter 5-3/4
