    Spam down voting someone for not knowing who they are, and wondering why they wouldn't have liked seems petty.
    My comment on Sean's other post that simply said "Nice", was also spam down voted.
    It's approved now so I still don't know what the problem was.

    Generic short comments equivalent to just saying "Like" or "Dislike" tend to be downvoted.

    Comments taking shots at community contributors and staff tend to be downvoted (unless other people feel the critique is justified).
