This is a double-whammy since not only can Yuyuko afford to eat like a glutton, she doesn't even need to eat in the first place since she's a ghost. The only way you could make it worse is if Yuyuko actively wasted food.

Though if you think about it, since Yuyuko is a ghost who doesn't need to eat isn't the food wasted by definition regardless?

Only if your sole factor for defining "wasting food" is whether the eater needs nourishment. You can have no need for nutrition and still derive pleasure from good-tasting food like the average mortal does.

This is the world where we live. The privileged won't do anything without more privileges.

I'm not sure that ghosts _don't_ need to eat, actually -- it's the same folklore that Yuyuko is punning off of, the concept of the hungry ghost. If your ancestors aren't fed properly, then they (at the very least) stop being benevolent presences. I'm pretty sure it's in everybody's best interest to keep the Princess of the Netherworld from being a malign force against the living.
