Oh my God, I never considered the thought that Kamek would be a father figure to Bowser! This is really sweet!
It's not an entirely baseless claim, either - besides Kamek likely being Bowser's caretaker when he was a baby (if the Yoshi games are any indication), there's a Magikoopa boss in Super Mario RPG that has the thought of "That's...my child?" when using Mallow's Psychopath move on him - so depending on how you look at it, the feeling is mutual.
