Satori herself brings this up later in this story. Apparently, she was invited to both the Purple Summit and the Pink Summit, because her hair is kind of a grey area between the two (seriously, go look at her official SA art, it could really go either way). She chose to throw her lot in with the Purples because the Pinks have a reputation for being "dirty" (a reputation that seems to come mainly from the fact that several of them have larger than average breasts, which to me seems a bit unfair).

Canonically her hair is magenta, not sure where the pink-haired myth came from.
