That breathtaking moment when silent character suddenly speaks

I remember watching the early eps of the Barakamon anime and being surprised when little Hina spoke.

I can't recall why but I somehow assumed that she was going to be a silent character with the exception of her bawling her eyes out now then.

This chapter makes me so sad I cried the first time and I think I will again.
