I don't understand why some claim Red Shoes is Nikke's Erebus.
To deserve the comparison, she should've been in league with the Raptures well before the events of the game and should've done far more than corrupt just one Nikke. She should also have had a big support base within humanity's ranks.
Still, Red Shoes and Erebus do have one thing in common: humanity birthed them.
