This is a good a time as any to complain about the tag aliasing that was done not to long ago which changed newhalf to just "futa without pussy."
Newhalf is an old word, generally equivalent to "ladyboy", somewhat interchangeable with the modern "trans female," that sort of thing. Boy who had surgery and or hormones to present as female, and *has breasts.*.
Futa is magical. Futas were always futas, they were never males. They may have testicles, pussies, big dicks little dicks whatever, but they were *not males.*
I understand some people are goobers who can't tag properly but that's no justification to delete a tag entirely.

You mean like the person who added crossdressing, futa without pussy, and trap at the same time, and later 2025 when the year isn't shown anywhere in the image?

The image was created in 2025 and was uploaded in 2025 to the best of my knowledge. I thought that this booru like some others I use wanted to you append the date of creation if you know it. That seems to not be the case for danbooru but I'm just trying to be thorough.
I also appended those tags because the one I WANTED to use, the one that is accurate, doesn't exist anymore. This character isn't a futa, using the old definition of that tag. Me and the community used "newhalf" for many years- but newhalf doesn't exist anymore, nor does shemale, ladyboy, transgender, anything like that. The closest tag I have to "biologically male, presents as female" is "otoko no ko." So that's what I used.
The whole point of tags is to describe an image or the characters in it. I can't do that properly anymore. "futa" is incredibly vague- this is not just something I have talked about.
I'm doing the best I can with what I know. I'm sorry for any mistakes I make on this post or others, but you are assuming the worst which is not fair. You are also being passive aggressive. If a tagging change occurs or I make a mistake, please tell me and I will fix it.

There's no indication in the image the character is male. Generally speaking, appearance trumps canon information, and this character is indistinguishable from your ordinary futa. Futa without pussy wouldn't even apply here since you can't actually tell from the image.

I assure you there was nothing passive about that. And if I assumed the worst about you, I would've accused you of intentionally forcing inappropriate tags on images. But I didn't. I merely pointed out the irony in you stating some people can't tag properly while also misusing the tags. But I'll admit I could've gone a bit easier on you, so I'm sorry, too.

There's no need. It's faster if the person that spots a one-time mistake fixes it themself. If I see constant tagging mistakes from the same person and it's becoming an issue, then I'd be more likely to say something.

Sure, but this character has a backstory. If you know the backstory you're supposed to share it- especially if it explains what you see in the image. Poison and Astolfo are always given the newhalf/trap tag even when you wouldn't be able to tell from the image- example, post #1344856

The difference between post #1344856 and this post is that the former doesn't actually show anything that would contradict the possibility of that character being a boy. And while I'm aware the more NSFW posts are sometimes drawn in a way to further blur the lines like adding chest bumps that may or may not be developing breasts, at some point it shifts from merely being a boy with an androgynous body to being a full genderswap.
