The lineart is quite weird, it changes size in weird ways. This could be because of pressure pen controls being on, meaning him pressing hard could make those lines harder, but its hard to say for sure.

"ai-assisted" is very much at the whims of the moderators and uploaders with auto-approve status.
Honestly, I don't know what we can do about it. Use of AI in the art process is going to become more and more common and finding a 'line in the sand' for how far is too far is going to be a real hurdle.

Personally, his example looks better before he passes it through the AI. After the second or third pass through the AI, it just looks like a jcm2 imitator, which was probably the intent, but then why even bother?
Using AI sincerely as a supplementary tool is one thing, but what's the point if the final result doesn't even look like your own art? At that point it feels like the only reason you didn't just have the AI do all the work for you as a jcm2 copycat (the described method sounds like AI is doing 90% of the work anyway) is so you can tell people your art is only AI-assisted. It's just manipulative and dishonest.
