you need Naruto to have a reason to be strong for the Chunin exam? Let Neji almost kill Hinata Need a reason to make Asuma's death tragic for a pretty much one dimensional character? Let Kurenai be pregnant with his child Need Naruto to snap out of his self pity? Let Pain almost kill Hinata... again Need to show Nagato and Yahiko were human beings and good guys? Let Konan be kidnapped and threatened to be killed
Hinata, Hanabi, Tenten have pretty much zero character development, they just appear and are dropped of the series as most convenient are. Wasn't the girl from the sound trio the only one who got zero background story?
Hell, after Hinata told Naruto she loved him, what happens next? Hinata is removed from the plot, even though Naruto just realized somebody loves him and is willing to die for him. He even goes Kyuubi out of the event, almost releasing the fox on the world once again. Hell, Kiba was the one to tell them about Danzo, but Kishimoto didn't think bringing Hinata back was relevant at all

ya it really bugs me that the writter did that, what a way to grab atention and avoid it as much as possiable until people lose intrest again. well thats how i feel

Don't worry it won't go that way. the writer isn't gay he just has no interest in women and sees them as '2nd class people' instead of 'equal vessels'. one more note about the writer, he gives into pressure with enough pushing and has been known to steal ideas from fanfiction.(Not surprising since the original writer left after the chuunin exams arc)
