Besides that, seeing "Lina-san" in Cyrillic amused me more than it probably should have.

Lina's sentence means something like "Why not? Did I caught it for nothing?".

I forgot,but someone in this anime was in pokemon, was it the girl? or was it the blond dude the voice of brock? I know someone was in pokemon and also voiced some charecters in this anime.

pretty much the entire main character staff for Slayers English dub went on to work in the 4kids dubbing department. in this group specifically, from left to right is Ash, some extras (Lisa Oritz, who played Lina, didn't have any main character role.. biggest ones I can think of she did are Sabrina and the trainer Lisa in the 3rd movie), and Brock

The Japanese voice for Lina - Megumi Hayashibara - plays Pikachu in both Japanese and American versions of Pokemon

Megumi doesn't voice Pikachu. Ikue Ootani does.
