Should we make a tag for the quake, if there are enough pictures for it?

If there are enough images that appear, I think a tag for them would be appropriate. Just make sure the tag name won't be confused with the anime Tokyo Magnitude 8.0.

pixiv has 30 pages and counting with the "日本がんばって！！" tag (Hang on, Japan!!), so maybe something along those lines?

A tag based on that should probably work.

Would it be preferable to keep it in Japanese instead of translating it? (Sort of similar to akeome and some other tags).

How about 2011 sendai earthquake and tsunami or the official name for this disaster in Japanese, 2011 touhoku chihou taiheiyou oki jishin?

There's too much overlap between the tag and the pool. Maybe they need to be a little more clearly defined?
