I don't think so. Look at where Nodoka's skirt is.

Either a) it's around Nodoka's waist, which means Nodoka's spine does a 90 degree twist so that the part coming out of the lower part of the skirt can be her leg.

(If that curve is Nodoka's knee, then Nodoka has a very, VERY short body, plus a second knee under her first knee jointed in the other direction)

or b) it's around Asakura's right leg, which she then crosses over her left leg. Also, Asakura's right leg comes out of her abdomen and Nodoka has no lower body.

Either way, this is some really funky anatomy. Good enough for the when_you_see_it tag?

Guess I was right about the "double-jointed knee" thing, huh? This picture amuses me to no end.

I'm thinking it's around Nodoka's right leg. The part where the skirt is can't be a waist due to the calf on the leg that sticks out.

Woah. The idea that the part above Nodoka's skirt could be her thigh never even crossed my mind. Suddenly this picture makes perfect sense. Well done. ^_^
