Ah, back in business, as it were. Only a week's break, not bad at all.

Checking the Pixiv comments, he had deadlines for a 16-page story, 7 4-panel strips, and 4 spot illos. Small wonder he had to set aside the diary manga for a while. He says he spent days apologizing over the phone to his editor, feeling like he was kneeling on a hot steel plate. But he's back up now, so it's okay. :-)

Marisa in the first frame, looking hot in that swimsuit. Too bad for her that's the only hot thing at that beach.

Then ZUN must also be able to get drunk, sure it might take a truck load, but I am sure all these times we've been trying, it's just us not trying hard enough.

Beer's not overly alcoholic, right? ZUN probably just metabolizes the alcohol so fast that he can drink it continuously and not get alcohol poisoning. Come to think about it, that might be how Suika and Yuugi tick too...

Beer's usually around 4-6% alcohol.

Sake being a fermented drink (at very best 26% proof) lacks the potency of distilled spirits but if enough is consumed it will get you plastered.
I'm surprised that Kogasauthor didn't do a bar crawl with Sanaewife while in America. I've been to bars (designated driver/make sure they don't do anything extremely stupid) and seen quite a few Japanese while I was in Orlando.
