Someone make a game out of it.. and yes, the NHK reference is sooo correct :).

The artificial legs girl has a disturbingly Tomari-like hairstyle which fits the track club reference. And her legs look like auto mail. Damn we really need a game like this NOW.

The thalidomide girl would clearly have a foot fetish scene, so I pick her.

according to gurochan some time ago, this was some manga's art monkey' omake, detailing the sort of game he would produce if he had the time, money and interest.

the fun bit is, anonymous took him up on it, and a freeware game was nearing the end of development last time i checked.

Update: Demo version, consisting of Act 1, is now out.

I wonder if has Raita played Katawa Shoujo yet. Be interesting to know what he thinks of it.

Considering how faithful they've been to the details, it'd be even more hilarious if they actually released the Japanese version priced at 5800 yen. Throw in some decent voice acting and it may even be worth it.

I didn't know Katawa SHoujo was this old. Gotta love how much work was put into it.

So this is where it all started, huh? I knew Katawa Shoujo had a really long development, but I had no idea the illustration that inspired it has been on Danbooru for just as long. It's so weird seeing a nearly 20-year old post about one of my favorite games; it's like I'm looking at a piece of history. (I know the image was originally from 4chan, not Danbooru, but I digress.)
