I've always wondered why people tend to avoid this fanbase...

Normally I would ask how come Marisa doesn't just... you know, fly but I been playing quite a bit of Airmech the past few days.

So it is pretty reasonable* to assume that Marisa here is out of fuel/mana/whatever magic that keeps her flying...

*Wait a minute, since when does reason apply in Gensoukyou...

witches need brooms to fly. even if she could fly without one; it'd be breaking the rules as a ordinary witch to do so ;)

Well, can't deny it.

Not saying it belongs in the "just fly" pool since fanon goes back and forth on Marisa flying with no broom BUT Marisa can fly without her broom in canon and I'm not sure there's ever been any limit on magic in Touhou. On top of that, Marisa is also either oddly athletic and strong or has some Hijiri-type magic
