I would have made it "Later, dude!" You can't really say "cya" with your mouth, and besides that, "later" is what "mata" means in the first place.

"Mata ne" is a friendly way of saying goodbye (less formal than "Sayonara"). I think the translation is right.

It's right, it's just... net slang instead of something a person would say. There are ways to do it.

I changed it to "See ya~!", which is how it's usually spelled, and scans better.
