Actually, a recent development involving HGSS and Celebo not only confirms game!Silver's relation to Giovanni, but allows you to battle Giovanni thanks to Celebi's time-screwy powers.

Disagree. Silver is an annoying, generic, whiny little dick. Of which (dicks I mean), there are too many of in pokemon.
