I think the "everyone" tag pretty much has it covered, at least for 1996 and earlier. Which leads to another question. Who's up for updating this thing? :)
Most characters of any show on there are from Sailor Moon, also has the most repeats of characters different personas. Anyone for wheres Walto? Find the one carater thats actually on there twice as the same character (clue: the artist is right behind it, Naoko Takeuchi).
I think we oughta do the same thing we did with the orc picture. NAME THAT ANIME! Translate-note it if you recognize the anime, add the name as before!
comment #56511 I suggest that the anime characters from the same anime be just tagged in a row, it'll make it much easier and faster, and it won't leave a LONG not history to look through. As for the anime characters that aren't in a row, then just do them as individual I guess.
I really want to know the anime source for the two characters - near the top - between Nausicaa and the Burn Up girls. It's some obscure title that was out on US VHS in the mid-90's, I think from ADV (or maybe US Manga Corps) and I have been trying to come up with the name of that anime for the better part of a year now. It's hard searching when you don't have a shred of information to go on. >_<

if this is absolutely every anime ever, and I had the patience, I would try to find Pilot Candidate in there. so in the meantime, I will favorite it as a bookmark, and try again later.
Practically every monster girl in that pic is a youma from all Sailor Moon seasons, the problem is finding names and pics referencing each one to tag them accordingly. BTW, there are many of these characters that are repetitions of already tagged characters from Sailor Moon, and others are from Sailor V mangas. Wow.
Oh man, if I could travel back to one point in time, it would be Anime Expo '96. I decided this as soon as I discovered that the guest list for that year included Hideaki Anno and Mamoru Oshii - my two absolute favorite people in the industry.
