I'm unsure on how I feel about the Beast Crest. On one hand, during frenzy, your attacks do a bit more damage and their range and speed becomes the best of all the crests, but that's on a timer and you need to bind to do it, which requires silk you may or may not have.
The very limited power boost you get doesn't seem to justify only four crest slots, either...

Also the "pogo" is like Ass Hunters pogo feels bad but is usable Beasts is just Bad

The pogo is only ass for platforming, and even then it's just a matter of practice. For combat, it's probably the best pogo, because it doesn't require being above the enemy to use, and fully covers Hornet's hitbox so it's very safe. You can basically play the floor is lava with the beast crest and stay in the air indefinitely.
All the crests are good, you just have to learn how to use them.
