Samatoki is a yakuza and the wakagashira of the Katengumi, a yakuza clan that settles disputes within the Yokohama Division. He is a former member of Mad Comic Dialogue and The Dirty Dawg, and the current leader of Mad Trigger Crew.
Although he has a strong-willed and violent personality, he also has a gentle side and is well-liked by local residents and organizations. He used to oppose his younger sister, Nemu, joining the Party of Words, but now respects her beliefs. He has begun to seek ways to change the world without using violence.
