They are commonly portrayed as forest-dwellers living in tune with nature, often wearing green and brown clothing. They tend to use bows as their weapon of choice and are sometimes powerful magic users.
In some works, elves may be portrayed as little more than a human with blonde hair and pointy ears. As a result, they are often indistinguishable from half-elves. Some works (particularly NSFW) depict them as more endowed than ordinary humans or as a mature adult in a youthful body.
