She has [[very long hair|very long]] [[purple hair|dark purple]] and [[red hair]]. True to her lore, she is portrayed with a [[halo]] made out of 2 layers of black and white stars, [[heterochromia|heterochromic]] [[pink eyes|purple]] and [[blue eyes]], black [[horns]], [[pointy ears]], and [[asymmetrical wings|differently-colored]] [[crystal wings]].¶

Formerly operated under the solo "Project:HOPE" from July 2021 until October 2023, when she was "reassigned":[https://twitter.com/hololive_En/status/1711232551061516715] to a new group with the four remaining [[holoCouncil]] members as "hololive English -Promise-". ¶

Similar to [[hololive]] Japan's [[AZKi (hololive)|]], her name is stylized [i]IRyS[/i], with only one letter in lower case.¶
