This might be the second featuring them, but any idea why Haguro and Kamikaze were chosen to search for Thonburi in this case (not historically)?

The easiest, MOST EFFICIENT, way to farm Thonburi in the first part of the 7-3 map, who can basically be farmed non-stop with Kamikaze and Haguro all by themselves due to them being historical and slight bonus for that map (You might only need to rotate the two for morale, or use any other combinaison of 1 CA and 1 DD - personally I went with Inazuma and Zara). And Thonburi have an extremely variable drop rate here. The luckiest admirals can drop her in like 15/20 runs, but you'll easily find farms that go way over 50, 100 or even 200 runs in some cases (Mine took 72 attempts).

Thonburi drops in world 7-3, which has historical routing available if you have Haguro and Kamikaze in your fleet. Said historical routing makes the map a lot easier.

Wow, poor De Ruyter must be *really* clueless to confuse a Ford Trimotor with a Fokker F.VII trimotor. The differences aren't exactly subtle. (Or perhaps her memory is fuzzy with age?)

A couple bits of trivia related to this joke:

Fokker's F-10 "Super Tri-Motor" was a competitor to the Ford Trimotor. Being a "Fokker", you might assume it was Dutch-made—but it was produced by "Atlantic Aircraft", the American spin-off company that Anthony Fokker created when he moved to the U.S. in the late 1920s.

KLM's Douglas DC-2s were, well, not exactly Dutch-*made*, but they were Dutch-assembled by the European Fokker firm after being shipped across the Atlantic, so they're sometimes referred to as Fokker DC-2s. (KLM's DC-2s were a big deal in the 1930s; they were among the fastest and longest-ranged airliners in the world at the time, and KLM flew them on its multi-stop service between Amsterdam and Batavia (now Jakarta) in the Dutch East Indies.)

You mean like the person who added crossdressing, futa without pussy, and trap at the same time, and later 2025 when the year isn't shown anywhere in the image?

The image was created in 2025 and was uploaded in 2025 to the best of my knowledge. I thought that this booru like some others I use wanted to you append the date of creation if you know it. That seems to not be the case for danbooru but I'm just trying to be thorough.

I also appended those tags because the one I WANTED to use, the one that is accurate, doesn't exist anymore. This character isn't a futa, using the old definition of that tag. Me and the community used "newhalf" for many years- but newhalf doesn't exist anymore, nor does shemale, ladyboy, transgender, anything like that. The closest tag I have to "biologically male, presents as female" is "otoko no ko." So that's what I used.

The whole point of tags is to describe an image or the characters in it. I can't do that properly anymore. "futa" is incredibly vague- this is not just something I have talked about.

I'm doing the best I can with what I know. I'm sorry for any mistakes I make on this post or others, but you are assuming the worst which is not fair. You are also being passive aggressive. If a tagging change occurs or I make a mistake, please tell me and I will fix it.

There's no indication in the image the character is male. Generally speaking, appearance trumps canon information, and this character is indistinguishable from your ordinary futa. Futa without pussy wouldn't even apply here since you can't actually tell from the image.

I assure you there was nothing passive about that. And if I assumed the worst about you, I would've accused you of intentionally forcing inappropriate tags on images. But I didn't. I merely pointed out the irony in you stating some people can't tag properly while also misusing the tags. But I'll admit I could've gone a bit easier on you, so I'm sorry, too.

If a tagging change occurs or I make a mistake, please tell me and I will fix it.

There's no need. It's faster if the person that spots a one-time mistake fixes it themself. If I see constant tagging mistakes from the same person and it's becoming an issue, then I'd be more likely to say something.

Sure, but this character has a backstory. If you know the backstory you're supposed to share it- especially if it explains what you see in the image. Poison and Astolfo are always given the newhalf/trap tag even when you wouldn't be able to tell from the image- example, post #1344856

The difference between post #1344856 and this post is that the former doesn't actually show anything that would contradict the possibility of that character being a boy. And while I'm aware the more NSFW posts are sometimes drawn in a way to further blur the lines like adding chest bumps that may or may not be developing breasts, at some point it shifts from merely being a boy with an androgynous body to being a full genderswap.

Apparently the memes and image macros were flying fast and furious over on Weibo while this incident was going down, and this is one artist’s take on the American public’s reaction.

I have to admit, it’s not inaccurate…
