I'm not at all sure what sort of standard translation there is for "seikai" or "utahime" in this game.... Maybe it's supposed to just be "idol", but "idol" is usually just trying to actually say IDOL in phonetic English.

Also, I love the bashful doll. Furthermore, I now have diabetes.

I think the translation used in Macross Frontier is...songstress?

In Frontier it's Diva, which is perfectly usable. Songstress tends to be the more commonly accepted translation, however.
