Although I wonder what those fairies can do to change the course of the battle (I'm not familiar with the mechanics of Kancolle), perhaps patch up Iowa and SoDak so they can hold off Black Kirishima long enough for the air support and Musashi's fleet to arrive perhaps.

Also lol at Katori actually wearing a fundoshi too, turns out she lied to her sister.

Those Damage Control fairies can fully restore sunk ship's HP, fully replenish Ammo and Fuel. They can only restore the ship who equips these though.

If they are not the special kind of Damecon, my best guess is they will give another chance to Kashima and Katori to buy time until Musashi and the others arrive.

I'm curious to see how resurrecting Kashima and Katori will change anything, seeing how Black Kirishima curbstomped everything. At least that still witnesses of the Vice-Admiral's collaboration with the Abyssal Fleet once this clusterfuck is over.

I'm banking on talk no jutsu. At least long enough to serve as a distraction. Kuroshima isn't exactly intent on killing the admiral, and flattening Kashima and Katori again may hold little appeal. She isn't overwhelmed by a mindless blood lust. If nothing else, she may simply be curious.

I got here late but man I didn't expect such a serious storyline out of this pool.

I say that but I don't think magic pantsu are actually that serious.

"Ziggy Punch" may be a bit of a misnomer since while "Kurita Punch" may be indicative of Yamato's shots at Johnston or White Plains, "Ziggy Punch" would be more like what Samuel B. Roberts did to Chikuma or seemingly every Center Force ship being buried under 5-inch gunfire from multiple attackers despite the fact that Taffy III had a lot less ships to shoot with than ships to shoot at.
